my random post of the month
Don't I deserve at least one time a month where I can be completely strange and go go off on any subject I want? Technically I'm like that everyday, but it's actually kind of fun :)
i feel like typing like this and theres no one 2 stop me cuz' im a happy gurl! why do people do this N*E way? it kinds makes them sound like they dont no how to speak no good english. Maybe there just sick of skool or sumthing like that.
Okay, now i'm really done because talking like that drives me nuts! Yes, I do it, but if you look at it, you realize just how stupid you sound. It actually takes me longer to think of the inncorrect spelling of gurl, than it does to just type it the right way.
I really love Christmas! It's the best holiday besides Thanksgiving (Yes, I know, i'm the only person on earth who's favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. Why do people always skip over it? You never see anybody singing Thanksgiving Carols
*Grumble Grumble*) The lights and the love and the happy shoppers at walmart with their secret wepon stash (if you havn't seen that episode of the office, go see it, NOW!) waiting to pounce on you if you grab the last tickle-me-Elmo. But really christmas is an amazing holiday!
Speaking of the office... WHY DID THEY TAKE IT OFF ITUNES? yes, I finally got an ipod so I could watch it, and now I can't because some guys are fighting over green paper. Two Words. How Stupidly, Obnoxiously,Disgusting, of them to do such a thing? (Okay that wasn't two words...)

I'm a happy girl!

NEVER play Jr. Monoply with a 5 year old
Today I played Jr. Mononpoly with a five year old. (It was even Toy Story edition!) It was fun until we were almost tied and had to land a one certian spot for the win, only neither of us could land on that darn spot, so we went around and around, and around and around and around (Getting the idea?) and around a few more times. Eventually her mom came home, which meant I had to leave, and the only way she would let me leave was if I promised to play next time I was over there. WHO INVENTED JR. MONOPOLY? Thanks to them everytime I go to babysit this adorable 5 year-old girl I will have to play it. It'll be a NEVER ENDING CYCLE! Haha, at least it's almost Thankgiving!

The Art of Procrastination
Here's a shock- I'm a procrastinator. I love to put things off until the last minute (the very, very, very, very last minute) athough I'm getting better, 'cuz face it, to get through high school with decent grades (or in my case better than decent) you have to work. A lot (yes, it really is two words). The problem is not seeing things ahead of time and remembering on sunday night.
*Parent* (in cheesy british accent) What homework do you have daling?
*Kid* None that I can think of.
*Parent* (still using the accent) Reeealllly?
*Kid* Well I do have a couple pages of math
*Parent*(still lovin' the accent) Best you get to it. Tut tut now!
Kid looks in backpack
*Kid* Oh, and an englsih test
Parents face starts to lose color as they realize whats happening
*Kid* Haha! I forgot about my physics paper!
Parent starts to sway back and forth
*Kid* Oh, I'm supposed to finish Gone With the Wind.
*Parent* How long is the book daling?
*Kid* Like a thousand pages or something like that.
*Parent* How many pages do you have left?
*Kid* (Smiling Brightly) Only 998!
Parent Passes out
So now your getting the idea. Don't procrastinate. It's pure grief!

The Championship- The good the bad and the ugly
So yah, we won the "church" volleyball championship! It was a great feeling, and really hard beat. It was CLOSE, and when I say close, I mean close! I'm giving kudos to the other team, cuz' I know they were as good as we were- but it still felt good to win.
THE GOOD- OUR TEAM IS AMAZING! We are all really close, and it's a great feeling. We played as a team, and we won as a team. Oh ya-we partied after, and don't forget the IHop!
THE BAD- the part that bugged me- the drama/smacktalk
I don't know about anybody else, but I hate it. I hate drama, and backstabbing, and most of all I hate smacktalk, but yet I'm sure both teams did it (I know ours contributed) So why? Why in general do we get so much pleasure by talking behind peoples backs? It really doesn't make you a better person, and it hurts others, so why go there?
THE UGLY- a bunch of sweaty, smelly girls dancing around a gym. Need I say more? :)

Commitment
Today, in one of my lovley classes, I was talking to *Bob* (For his sake I won't use his real name. I know you're thinking how dorky it is to use the name bob, but I don't really care. Like I've said before, Nobody really reads this but me anyway, at least I hope they don't. I think.)
Bob told me how much he hates the church, and hates seminary, and basically doesn't want anything to do with it. He said he never listens, al the guys in his ward hate him (which isn't true, I would know). So here's my point- Why come to church every sunday if you hate it so much? If you're complaining the whole time, you're not getting anything from it. This applies to lots of different situations. If were doing whatever we do, just for the sake of doing it, we're not learning and growing, which is the point of life (otherwise we would all just be rocks). If you're going to do anything, be commited, and it will turn out a whole lot better. Do things because you want to, not because somebodys pushing you to.
That was my venting of the day. I'll save you and not write that much again until next week.

My Grades
I've NEVER posted 2 posts in a day because face it, nobody really reads this anyway, and those who do probably don't want to read it twice!
I'm on the honor roll only thanks to my amazing english teacher who gave me an A instead of an A-. My GPA is now officially "High" (nothing to do with drugs :) and i'm officially happy with it. I've done enough homework this term for the rest of my life (but there will always be more).
Goal for next term: 4.0
I have never gotten a 4.0, Lots of 3.95, but no 4.0.

Two little cheater boys...(only not so little)
Today in chemistry, there were two guys thatwanted to copy my work. It was a a really short assignment (only three problems) but like a nice little girl I told them no. They took my paper and wouldn't give it back. I asked my other another nice guy (at least I thought so before this-i've known him forever)to grab the paper, and he copied it to. By time they gave it back to me five or six guys had copied the answers. I tried to get the paper back, but face it, me against six big guys?? Today I decided that guys are dumb...Wait! I decided that a longggg time ago. Guys are just indescribable.
I'm going to take Chase's side on this. He doesn't like guys either :)!!

The Only Guy a Girl Can Trust Is God
So, right now i'm struggling a lil' bit. Maybe i'm blowing it up to massive proportions, but I feel like I'm losing all my friends. I lov'em to death, but they're making new friends and I feel stuck. In a rut. With mud. And sticks. So I figured the only person I can trust to take care of me is God, because that's what he's there for. The only thing is that to get somebody to talk to you, you have to talk with them, and honestley that's a hard thing for me. But i'm going to do it. I'm going to do it until I get my answer, which could take awhile but i'm ready. It's a two way street and i'm crossing. Wish me luck and say a little prayer for me!

Save the earth-Recycle!
SOOO... Instead od studying for the chemistry and math tests I have for tomarrow, I did something amazing. I saved the earth. In three hours we managed to get 378 phonebooks to recycle-how cool is that?? We went to the Marriot downtown, and we'll be making another trip, probably for another 300. This all depends on how we get there.
*Driving down the freeway, belting out HSM 2 songs*
Mom-So, how many phonebooks do you think we have?
Me-maybe a couple million!
*THUMP*
Mom-Who's hitting the car?
*Thump*
Lil' Sis-Not me!
*THUMP!*
Car starts to slow down
*BONK*
(Mom prays we get off the freeway-literally)
Just off the freeway, (YAH!) our van dies (Boo!)
*Wait 5 minutes and say a prayer*
Get to the elemenatry to drop off the phonebooks (Phew!)
Car dies at intersection (Sob)
-Notice how nobody has said anything since the freeway-
Car starts slowly.
*BUMP!*
We get to the church by our house
Use some guys cellphone
Car starts
*BUMOOP*
*Crack*
(at least we get to our street)
-People in our neighborhood are now wondering why we're parked 10 feet from our house-
WE FINALLY GET HOME!!
-Dad tries car and it work okay-
Fun huh?
At least we saved the earth!

Getting Back Up!
It's hard. when your really down (everybody gets this way) you have to find a way to get back up. Everybody has a different way. Personally, I like to write. It allows to to communicate your feelings (YA!) and express yourself. I also love music (Rascal Flatts is my newest band) and running. Yes, all you people who think I'm lazy cause I quit social dance club, I run. Well technically I haven't ran latley, But i'm getting a new ipod for my birthday so that should help.
I'm really stressed at the molment, but I have an amazing announcment. AH HEM!
I GOT A 3.5/4 ON MY A.P. World Civ. Exam!!!!!!!
Yay for me!!!! I studied really hard and it paid off. It's not everyday you get an amazing grade like that. I'm also giving credit to my heavenly father, cause I know he helped me. A LOT!

Compter Tech.
I'm Probably not supposed to be doing this now cause i'm in school... Computer Tech. to be exact.Oh well, Sometimes you have to do it when you can. Holy Nervousness!!!

The Elections
I AM ACTUALLY DOING IT!
I am running for senante, and this year I think I have a chance! I am really buzzed! (By the way buzz is my new word.) It's not like I'm cooler than I was in 8th grade (which was the last time I ran) I'm just more outgoing. I sure hope I have a fighting chance. If I don't make the only thing i'll have lost is sleep, and a whole lot of it. I slept all of 2 hours last night which is why I'm practically drooling on my keyboard. I'm cheering on J. for prez, and of course A. for senante with me!! (I hope she is reading this!) Good luck to Everybody who is running except one who's name I wont mention. You know who i'm talking about. I'm really just kidding. I wish luck to EVERYBODY!! My head is about to explode so Adios Amigos!!
